Tartuffe, a Comedy by Molier

Tartuf is one of the most famous comedies of French playwright Molière. The play is a story of a wealthy Frenchman, Orgon who showed his religion and enthusiasm but accepted Tartuff who actually turned into a hypocrite. In spite of family warnings, Orgon completely abandoned his family to protect his Tartuffe. Meanwhile, the script was written and played for the first time, and many people enjoyed the show with King Louis XIV.
