Talking in the Cafeteria! Is it allowed?

I teach at a school with a cafeteria filled with 80 kindergartens and 80 first year students, 80 preliminary staff. This is a problem and the staff who feeds the children will not talk! I think that it is crazy ... the teacher of duty keeps the noise, because the teacher does not shout or leave your seat, the teacher can endure things. If there is noise, the women become crazy and tell the teacher that other schools do not allow children to talk when they eat. They shoutled and kept quietly, they always blew their whistling sounds!

Do you want to know if this is everywhere else? What do you think about this implicit lunch? For me, lunch is socializing time, I can talk!

Ironically, the other two people are more severe than me in the cafeteria but they do not mind letting them talk loudly in the hall, I will not allow it at all. I will not visit anyone when I have lunch. I am sitting on the table, where I can watch the children or walk around them.

I think there is a difference between fifth graders and children of PreK, but those kids really need that time, we are older and we are more able to control ourselves . (Normally!)
