This countryside oasis covers about 32 square miles northeastern Ohio and is the only national park in the state. It was recognized as an official national park in 2000, formerly known as Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.

These partnerships are aimed at cooperative management of the Cuyahoga Valley Environment Education Center, "volunteering in the park", the creation of farms including long-term leases to protect the cultural heritage of the valley, and the management plan of the historic Cuyahoga valley railroad We support. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is one of the most visited national parks in the country visited by 150,000 visitors a year, thanks to the variety of entertainment and educational programs and close to the major urban areas.
Roots of Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the "park to people" movement in the latter half of the 1960s, aimed at establishing a national park close to the city. The park later evolved into a special entertainment resource located between the downtown of Cleveland and Akron Ohio. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is a "partnership park" that still exists and built an innovative community engagement partnership that is used as a model for other national urban parks.
