Tablets Are Valuable Assets to a Classroom

Tablet PC is one of the main reasons to improve learning world. They are cutting-edge technologies to overwhelm books and other materials. Learning time is reduced to half, safe, lightweight, customizable, and interactive. Regardless of the ease and simplicity of textbooks, tablets should replace all books in elementary and junior high school environments. Textbooks are past, and will disappear in the morning tide. Before introducing today's tablet, I tried many prototypes and failures.

Tablet PC is a learning device of many K-12 classrooms. Teachers, administrators, and guardians are promoting one-on-one tablet programs in the classrooms across the country. why? The tablet is likely to provide quick access to information and individualized learning. There are few schools that achieve one-on-one goals, but nearly 60% of managers say they have introduced some form of mobile technology into the classroom. This promotion reflects world trends. Gartner Research expects Tablet sales to exceed the sales of notebooks and desktops in 2015. Children can use tablets and smartphones outside the campus. Therefore, you can easily adjust the technology in the classroom. Of course, the difference is that instead of playing the latest versions of Angry Birds and Candy Crush, students in the classroom tablet can use the latest reading, mathematics, or history apps.

The tablet and smartphone are no longer "in a classroom", but "when and how fast will it be?" Administrators and educators can learn about the convenience and adaptation of mobile technologies in the classroom. More than half of the school managers say they have some mobile technology in their classrooms and planning more implementation if financially feasible. To gather the user's opinion, at the end of the first year of implementation, eight classrooms were observed at junior high schools implementing 1: 1 iPad program, 23 students and 3 teachers I was interviewed. Topics drawn from interviews include iPad / dislike, iPad as an educational tool, iPad play, iPad as distraction and responsibility, and favorite apps and projects. Applications used in the classroom are limited, and most are productivity applications.
