Kate Chopin wrote a short story "Storm" which is one of her most bold stories, but it was not even intended to publicize it (Cutter 191). The two main characters of the story are Calixta and Arcy. They have attracted each other in the past few years, but now they are married to other people. After Alcee arrived at Calixta's house to find a shelter, they began a passionate moment.
