The yellow wallpaper is full of symbols. A symbol is an image that transcends its own meaning in a short story, and a symbol is a detail, character, or event that has a meaning beyond the literal role in the story. Gilman used the symbol to tell stories about the mental state of women who decreased through the story. In the next paragraph, we show only some symbols and explain how to explain them. They can be read in various ways.

The title itself, yellow wallpaper symbolizes the role of men in patriarchal society, men are more important gender, women are "trapped" in living under the control of men. For example, it is a bar in what kind of light of the night, dusk, candlelight, light, and in the worst moonlight, it's a bar! (; Gilman 211) This shows a narrator being trapped in paper. Another symbol, including the fact that women play a role, says, "She is trying to climb this model, it kills this model; I say that's why it has so many people's minds think". A woman who tries to play a role in society, she does not take seriously or feel that she wants to play a role I feel that I can not go anywhere

"When you follow the curved uncertainty curve, they suddenly commit suicide" (Gilman 206) she thinks it is not about unconsciousness at the level of consciousness. When a level narrator writes, '(design) destroys itself before contradiction. (Gilman 206) She conveys her mind in subconscious mind, and the talker is about to lose her mind at this point. "There is a place to repeat, the design has broken neck, and the eyes of the light bulb are turned upside down." (Gillman 207) She explains how the wallpaper looks like a "watchdog". The guards looked at every move of her, naturally made her nervous.

Even though there are families who care about her, the narrator feels lonely in life. As she is clinically irritated, I feel naturally isolated. Speaking of the house the narrator grew up with, she wrote, "And having a chair always looks like a strong friend.

It is more characteristic of the room and the room where she is symbolic than the window of the house. Clearly, the most important symbol is the yellow wallpaper that has a big influence on Jane. It captures her in a complex pattern and makes her aware of the real oppression of women in society. She said that this is the worst situation I have never seen before: "Color is uncomfortable and almost uncomfortable, smoldering dirty yellow will disappear strangely by slowly turning sun" (Gilman , 578). According to Sandrum M. Gilbert and Susan Guver, the filthiness of the wallpaper is "Jane finds a repressive structure of his own society - to survive" (Gilbert and Gubar, 1465). She was trapped in this room, and the only thing she could let her escape was the wallpaper. Her husband controls her activities so she can not go out or write.

One of the related symbols in Perkins - Gilman's story is yellow wallpaper. The hero thinks that she needs to decode the yellow wallpaper. It seems like the idea that yellow wallpaper is the main character as if she were a yellow wallpaper. Yellow is related to illness and weakness. Yellow is sometimes associated with repression of female men. "The color is uncomfortable, almost uncomfortable, a dull, dirty yellow that disappears strangely to the sun turning slowly, in other places it is a dull but awkward orange, it is a pathological sulfur tone." Perkins P. 688). Wallpaper will be the enemy of the hero and best friend. Until she releases it, the hero is still addicted to the yellow wallpaper. The wallpaper reflects the feelings and emotions of the hero, but the most important thing is the pain that she can endure. Faded yellow clothes belong to the hero of the night
