A story may have more than one symbol, or there may be only one symbol. Readers should explain the meaning of the symbol and the meaning to the story. When reading the story, when the climax ends, the symbol may not be clear to the end, the symbol falls. William Faulkner's "Amy's Rose" has some examples of symbolism through stories.
