Suzuki style approach: breakdown of cultural barriers The theme I chose to write was known as Suzuki style music education, or better Suzuki method. The teacher of the course taught me flutes and other instruments in various ways, but it took my attention. She likes to teach me music from Suzuki's method book, but after doing some research I realized that Suzuki style is a good way to teach children, especially young children. One thing I want to prove is that Suzuki style is the best way to teach children how to play and understand music from the modern to early music and from all over the world.
Suzuki's performance method developed by Suzuki Tadashi is one of the most commonly used playing methods in the United States. It is taught in schools such as Julliard and Columbia, and Royal Shakespeare is gaining popularity. The role of the Suzuki method is to establish an understanding of the actors about his body, especially his heart. This method uses exercises inspired by Greek dramas and martial arts and requires a lot of energy and attention. They lead the actor to become more aware of his natural expression and make it more fully involved in the physical and emotional demands of acting.
When they are asked what they learned from learning Suzuki method - adult Suzuki students usually do not answer the name of the work or musical instrument skills. . . Instead, they raised the characteristics of individuality: discipline, love for music, break up big problems into small pieces, and work hard. .
Suzuki method - You may have heard many of this concept. This method was originally applied to the violin teaching by Professor Shinichi Suzuki, but now it is also suitable for teaching piano (Mills et al.1). Instead of reading music, Suzuki's method plays the piano with "listening and growing ears and memories" (Mills 114). Because this method relies on the ear's playing, the student responds sensitively to the sounds he creates, so students can concentrate on their own performance and enhance expressiveness (Mills 114; "Piano Teaching Method " Four). In the concept of Suzuki, the author points out that "After a good game habit is established, the reading will be late" (114). However, students trained in this way are overly dependent on their ears, which can lead to lack of reading comprehension of music ("Piano teaching methods" 4).
Allain is an experienced practitioner and I observe and interview widely the teachers of this method. Ellen Lauren is co-founder of SITI company of Anne Bogart, explained by Suzuki as the best teacher of his method, now a faculty member of Columbia University and teach courses and seminars in the US and Europe. In 1995, Alan was trained for the first time in Yuri in the way of the valley. In the seminar, Suzuki conducted a philosophical and reflexive investigation on his approach, so I was convinced that understanding textbooks about Suzuki's method collected from "action mode" was useless.
