Sutton Hoo

I have to say that I am watching a show about Beowulf. That is my understanding of the archaeological discovery of Sutton Hoo. I do not know how to make this local newspaper, but after reading this program and figuring it out, I will see it. You think that the show may be useful, when you see I have to read Beowulf in my history class. I am getting extra reward and I want to grasp what I do with my local paper. The UK has a rich history, especially in the Middle Ages. In eastern England, there is one such place in Woodbridge Suffolk.

There are many resources available to study various aspects of boat burial at Sutton Hoo. One of the most useful materials for basic introduction of Sutton Hoo is Rupert Bruce-M itford. His Anglo - Saxon archeology is deeper, and his three editions are filled with information about Sutton Hu site. Angela Care Evans' book "Sutton Hoo Ship-Burial" is very similar to Bruce-Mitford's manual in many respects, but focuses on personal artifacts from the mound. This is a wonderful resource for those who need excellent photographs and personal relics and do not pay much attention to actual mining.

Sutton Hoo is a boat burial of Anglo-Saxon in Suffolk, England (some are also called cemetery). In 1939, a ship full of war equipments and the treasures of the British King of the era of hero was discovered. The place where the ship was found was called Sutton Hoo. The ship was found buried in a groove under a huge mound. Sutton Hoo consists of at least 15 different sizes. It is believed that the treasure belongs to the king who died in about 650 years. Among the items found were swords, shields, huge gold buckles, and other items. Back then, the religious beliefs of people are in the Hereafter, the deceased must fill all their wealth so that they can prepare for the next life. That is why you need a very big boat to stack everything.
