Surrealism and Salvador Dali surrealism are defined as an artistic style developed in Europe in the 1920s and feature the use of subconscious as a source of creativity to free painting themes and ideas. Surrealist paintings often draw unexpected or irrational objects in the atmosphere or fantasy that create dreamy scenes (www.progressiveart.com 2004). The term surrealism was built by author Guillaune Apollinaire in 1917. He used it to illustrate two examples of artistic innovation (Bradley 6).

Psychedelic art is any art caused by the expression of the inner world. Therefore, it can have various forms such as tribal art, Art Nude and primitive art, dynamic art with visual illusion, Salvador Dali, Klimt and Surrealism. The psychedelic art climax was in the 1960s discussing the feelings of open solutions and global solutions to society. Its boundary and its origins are difficult to identify because it lies in a wide range of fields such as literature, movies, comics, music, fashion, advertisements and so on.

Like William Shakespeare of literature and Isaac Newton of physics, the influence of Dali on Surrealism is very large. Although it can not be denied that Salvador Dalí is one of the most famous and admired artists of the 20th century, there are many conflicts surrounding his work with him. Many who criticized the artist claimed that after a brief stay as a surrealist, there was little if any work that contributed to the art world and his entire career. On the other hand, there are people who appreciate his work and vision. In fact, several art museums are open to celebrate artists and introduce the contributions Salvador Dalí brought to the art world in his career.

The work of Salvador Dalí opens the future of surrealism in the art world. He has contributed to the advancement of the art of the 20th century in various ways. He is a leader of surreal art and painting. He also opposed the "normal state", because there is another way, not a normal road, he told other people the concept of self expression.
