In this paper, we analyze the role of trading system in promoting Supply Chain Management (SCM). As trade policies include tariffs and non-tariff barriers, customs management and documentation differences, and transport networks, the environment in which trade takes place varies from country to country. This document presents new requirements to facilitate transportation of products across borders, thereby improving the efficiency of supply chain management. The community and the international community need to cooperate to promote this process. The global facilitation will provide a more effective international trade environment and a multilateral platform for cross-border product shipping. Regional organizations should also complement this effort by providing a road network that reduces or eliminates barriers to the passage of goods within the region. These obstacles interfere with effective SCM and increase the cost of the product, so eventually it will be borne by the consumer.
Over the past 30 years, humans have tried to manage the physical supply chain by adopting digital systems. In fact, humans have used digital state machines (such as computers) to manage the physical system, the state of the supply chain. Ideally, the digital state machine can monitor, respond, archive, plan, and predict the state of the physical system. In theory, the digital state machine reflects all possible states of the past, present, and future of the supply chain. Consider Apple's iPhone. In the supply chain of the iPhone supply chain and other high-tech electronics products, there are hundreds of components, dozens of suppliers, which are built and distributed throughout the global network. In addition, the iPhone 's supply chain has its own unique features not found in the automotive supply chain. The food supply chain has unique characteristics that can not be shared with the steel supply chain.
In order to satisfy these new requirements of the supply chain management system, the large enterprise group has developed its own supply chain management system, but since these systems are adjusted according to the environment of each company, inevitably It lacks versatility. SMEs are facing difficulties investing in such systems due to insufficient IT infrastructure and cost burden.
Today, the major supply chain management system is an end-to-end product suite that helps organizations manage and optimize supply chains as a complete ecosystem. Because they are fully integrated cloud technologies, we provide 100% visibility throughout the supply chain and expand or shrink to accommodate market realities. With the latest demand-driven supply chain, we can respond to growing expectations of buyers, shortening the product lifecycle, and fluctuating demand.
Supply chain experts play an important role in the design and management of supply chains. In the design of the supply chain, it helps to judge whether products or services are offered by the company (insourcing) or provided by other companies (outsourcing). In supply chain management, supply chain experts coordinate production between multiple suppliers, ensuring that goods are produced and shipped with minimal quality control or inventory problems. One goal of carefully designing and maintaining the product supply chain is to manufacture the product at a minimum cost. Such a supply chain can be regarded as a company's competitive advantage.
