Summary of The Book of Hosea

Many people say that Hosea is not accurate as a prostitute. When Israel is faithful, I only ask this. Their past is full of idolatry, immorality, rebellion and sexual disorder. The third view is that there is no marriage between Hosea and Gomer. They believe that the whole marriage is a metaphor, Hosea has never been married, or his wife was not a prostitute.

Hosea is the best choice. If you have never read this Bible book, you truly miss it. After all, God married a prostitute to his prophet Hosea and was told to start her family with her. Through her marriage, she was not loyal, slept around, and gave birth to children born out of marriage. Still, Hosea fought for his wife, looking for her, spreading her hands each time and accepting her. If this sounds odd to you, it should be. I do not know whether anyone suffering from such marriage (including me) today, but since the creation of man, God has been doing this with us.
