Sumerian literature was written in Sumerian in the middle of Bronze Age. Most Sumerian literature is indirectly preserved through the copies of Assyria or Babylon
The Sumerians invented one of the first writing systems In the 30th century BC, Sumerian wedge shaped notation was developed using the original primitive writing system. Early literary works appeared in the 27th century BC
Even though the spoken language disappeared from people, Sumerian was still used for the official and literary uses of the Accademia and the Babylonian Empire; the literacy rate is common and the text of Sumerian copied by students is It had a great influence on later Babylonian literature.
Most Sumerian literature is clearly a poem [1] [2]. Because it is written with a left-justified line [3], it may include line-based organization such as phrases and festivals [4]. The definition is unknown. It is not rhyme [5] [6] "Sometimes similar effects can be used" [7] It does not use syllable phonemism, [8] and the writing system excludes the detection of rhythm, meter, rhyme [9] . [10] Or head rhyme. [11] There seems to be a lack of quantitative analysis of the features of other possible poems.

The history of literature pays close attention to the development of civilization. Ancient Egyptian literature as a written work is considered to be the world's oldest literary work with Sumerian literature. Primary schools of ancient Egyptian literature - educational texts, hymns and prayers, and stories - are almost entirely written in poetry; use of poetry is clearly identifiable, but the rhythm of this verse is unknown. The problem of Sumerian literature as poetry and prose has not yet been answered. It contains at least one poetic feature (left aligned line), but the way of writing excludes the detection of other specific features.
This ancient appearance is becoming more beautiful as you turn to the world's oldest literary culture. The history of literature can be traced back to the earliest Sumerian poems and the text of the ancient Egyptian pyramid; in Europe, literature began to be formed in Homer's epic written about 2800 years ago. Even at home, Homer is basically a foreigner and in the "poetry of foreign country" of the Greek poet George Severs, the life left by the deceased is no longer sufficient (48). For his successors in the 20th century, Odysseus is like an old man and said he is 'modest and calm.' Time is approaching. . This poem ends in Odysseus and presents an eternal gift to the poet, a spectacle of the sea.
