Sullivan and Bennett showed extreme views on lesbian and homosexual marriage in two internal reviews. Andrew Sullivan's first article, "Gay Gay Marriage", describes the complexity of homosexuality relationships and the reasons why gay couples should be allowed to express each other's public feelings publicly. The second text to be reviewed is Leave Marriage Alone by William Bennett. Bennett commented why the same sex couples do not allow marriage.

There are several themes in both the Sullivan and Bennett articles. For example, Sullivan's theme of "marrying gay people" is civil rights. On the other hand, Bennett 's theme of leaving a marriage alone is religion and tradition. Sullivan considers our society as a culture of various faiths. In the United States, universal beliefs are equal rights. Sullivan said that it should be taken into account when issuing a marriage certificate. Bennett 's theme is that marriage should be born in the church and left in the church. He thinks that being married is very important to remain intact because there is a history of 4,000 years. Bennett believes that even if the rules of marriage change, it only allows more disorderly transformation. Both of these themes create valid parameters and are accepted by the audience.

Lisa Bennett and Andrew Sullivan have a very similar view. They are all homosexual marriages and have many of the same beliefs and emotions. Both Lisa Bennett and Sullivan are discussing at a personal level. Sullivan's articles are rich in content, and Lisa Bennett has a lot of emotions. Lisa Schiffren and William J. Bennett also share the same view on same-sex marriage. Gay marriage is immoral, and we believe it will harm our social life and family life style. Regardless of what happens to this law, there will always be discussion about whether gay marriage is right or wrong, moral or immoral.
