After wearing new clothes and a new sacred thread, the owner (believer) painted sandalwood cream on his forehead and neck. Sandalwood is "Sugandham" (smells great), Sumanoharam (I'm happy. Sandalwood is provided as a coolant for tired travelers traveling in different climatic conditions. (Now we keep variety of sandalwood products for our guests in the bathroom). The era has changed Yuga, but the lifestyle of Hinduism remains the same. That continues the world. The highest quality of Hindu life is adapted to change. The custom of Hinduism is not strictly regulated

Hindus usually cremated their dead. Prepare for cremation, soak in your body, put it in a coffin, decorate with sandalwood cream and garland, wrap with a white cloth. During the cremation ceremony, the body is placed in the crematorium after being carried three times counterclockwise around the cremation. The main mourner hit a cremation switch. The deceased was buried as soon as possible. Clean the body by wrapping a plain linen cover and clean it. Coffin is a regular wooden coffin. From death to burial, the body is monitored as a sign of respect. To commemorate the deceased, Kadish is said to be praying.

The mourning of Hinduism is explained to Dharma · Shastra. It starts just after the body is cremated and ends on the morning of the 13th. Traditionally dead bodies have been cremated within 24 hours after death, but cremation does not occur after sunset or before sunrise. Immediately after the death, an oil lamp was lit near the deceased and the lamp continued to burn for 3 days. As Hindu links the dead with ritual impurities as a direct blood relationship of the dead, during such mourning days, immediate relatives will do any ritual (except funeral), temple or other sacred I can not be allowed to visit places. Do not give up, read scriptures, memorize, do not participate in social activities such as marriage and political parties. Family members of the deceased should not provide food and drinks to visitors.
