The US State Department promises to support the next generation of diverse American leaders to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the globalized world.

Studying abroad is a time of great discovery - young Americans will experience the world and begin to form a network that enhances their prospects in the global market and their potential as global problem solvers. Americans studying abroad deepened their understanding of the informal ambassador of our country, revealed America's values, and exposed stereotypes.
