As more than 75% of the lesson time is spent in lectures, it is important for students to ask questions and participate in class discussions. Textbooks are the main sources of information on discussions and test content. If you do not read the textbook assigned by the students before class, you will not be able to participate, you will not benefit from the lesson and usually will not work well in the exam. Many of my students are seeking economic assistance, and in the past it was difficult to buy the latest edition of textbooks. I decided to implement REVEL. Because it is a more affordable choice because I can make a student accountable for reading. My main goal at REVEL is to allow students to read materials in textbooks to prepare for discussions and exams.
Promoting students to participate in class discussion is itself a topic. Words such as "ex", "gic", "dra dra" may be displayed. Some students think that participation should not be forced as long as the assigned work is completed on time, the test scores are good, and the attendance rate is satisfactory. I do not think that participation will improve the experience in the classroom but I would like other students to participate.
Without the skills in the classroom, student participation will depend on the students contributing to the discussion in class. When students face some of the aforementioned problems, it is difficult to understand and supervise the understanding of the contents of quiet students, as they often do not participate. However, educational technology will help make the process of quieter student participation easier than ever. Parlay promises that all students will speak and will be able to speak their own thoughts. Teachers can use this program to encourage students and support them through various point systems and feedback. The program also allows students to talk to each other, to focus on individual students, and to speak as a whole.
