Internship is one of the best ways to gain practical experience and become advantageous in the employment market. However, many internships are available only to current students. The university also offers opportunities for counselors, career centers, work fairs, clubs and volunteers to help you gain the necessary experience after graduation. Of course, they will help you go home - but not all degrees are equal. The average salary of the history major after graduation from college is 36 thousand dollars, but the degree of mechanical engineering earns about 62 thousand dollars. (5) You must consider whether your work is worth the price paid to school.
Please remember the students who completed application for this summer internship program. You are worth more than a chronically volunteer work. Please do not fall into an unpaid internship trap. Remember that your efforts may not be rewarded if you are considering an unpaid internship in fashion, news or media. Rachel Burger is a proponent of Young Voices, deputy editor in free thought.
