Student Senator Roles & Responsibilities

Student Senate is a board committee that is regularly held throughout the grade. It consists of student representatives from each of our secondary schools. These meetings provided the opportunity for Senators to act as advisors to trainees' councilors and board members. The Senator expressed his opinion on the student's problem and told the decision of the school's student council, Waterloo Regional School District Council (WRDSB). Participating in the Senate will also provide leadership opportunities as senators support and learn the WRDSB objectives and work

Participate in all senate conferences. If you can not participate, notify the chairperson that you are absent and arrange for another student to go to your place if possible.

Students' senators should read the agenda and share important information with their colleagues and school contacts and gather information and ideas about the conference.

Assist student councilors to identify students' questions, gather student opinions, communicate with students and better represent school communities at the executive board.

We will contact the school community and the event committee and discuss and decide at the student 's Senate conference.

Encourage the senators regularly meet with the president to share information on student Senate conferences.

Senator students should share the student 's voice regularly by attending the school council meeting and reporting the student' s conference.

As a signatory I, I agree and agree with the role and responsibilities of the student Senate and the terms of reference.

I hereby give WRDSB, its agents and employees the right to record and share my opinions and proposals and share them with the Board. As a member of a student senator, you are responsible for making this part of the student government the most representative of each specific class and student body as a whole. Through the Senate, each senator must continue to assist students with aid and gather information about their concerns. In this way, the Senator will act for the best interests of the student, be responsible for balancing, reviewing and supporting the student 's voice of administrative decisions from the ASUWB.

The responsibilities of the student's senators include student studies, communication between students and their universities, talks with university teachers to discuss student needs, attendance at SGA conference on Tuesday, and to the Senate Conference on Thursday Attendance is included. The applicant has accumulated GPA or more and plans to register UHCL in the spring of 2019. Voting by the executive committee will be held from 20th March until 26th March, and the election of student senators will take place from March 27th to April. I hope this SGA will promote the election to alleviate the general problem of at least a low vote rate. Only time will prove as to whether this strengthens student participation in their representative government

One of the most important roles on campus is two legislatures, the Senate (UGS) and the Graduate School Council (GSC). UGS and GSC will provide appropriate funds for general students and special expenses to different student groups (undergraduate group funded by UGS and graduate group funded by GSC, and some for coping with both organizations) Joint Special Rate Group). So what is the role of Congress? Changes to the special expenses budget, especially for these budgets, require their approval.
