Self-assessment is a valuable learning tool and part of the evaluation process. Through self-assessment, students can do the following.

46 Self-assessment of students Self-evaluation of students can refer to student's answer list / survey, such as interests, learning preferences, university and career diagnosis. Self-assessment includes students evaluating their progress. Through self-evaluation, students use meta-cognitive skills to evaluate the pros and cons of learning. This allows students to set goals, track progress, and make important decisions about areas that need to be addressed. When a student cooperates with a teacher to create a title, I personally discovered that self evaluation is most effective. This usually leads to a clearer assessment of the student's standards, which makes it easier for students to apply. I usually ask students to write up to 250 words of responses to explain self evaluation. One thing that I would like to try this year is to try self assessment as self-assessment, as my colleague Zack Teitel suggests. Students self-evaluate their work, provide detailed reasons for their evaluation, and give themselves a mark. Then I will see if I agree with their evaluation

The aim of self-evaluation on the course is to make it possible for students to make judgments on their own. In self-assessment, students need to evaluate the processes and products they learned. Product evaluation is often a teacher's job, but students are encouraged to evaluate the process up to their job and final result by conducting a student's assessment in class. In addition, self-assessment helps to improve the learning sense of the students and leads to increasing student opinion. It enables students to develop assignable skills in team research and team work, critical thinking and problem solving, and other areas of research including leadership role in teaching and learning.
