Student Organizations: Legal Rights & Responsibilities

Background According to Kaplin and Lee (2006), undergraduate organizations offer opportunities for students to acquire and develop leadership skills and pursue various non-academic interests. It also complements their formal education through secondary school academic courses (Kaplin & Lee, 2006). For these reasons, we encourage students to participate in student organizations. Christian law society (CLS) is a fellowship of emolilee students, they are also Christians. CLS gathers every week to study the Bible and listen to guest lectures from law and law school communities. The purpose of this organization is to represent Christians in the law school community, to provide scholarships to other Christian lawyers and students, and to help members associate their beliefs with their legal profession .
