The MSCP Student Handbook is a student handbook at Alverno University that builds a community of learners. It is a community guide and student handbook. The University Handbook contains policies for all undergraduates and graduate students. This MSCP Student Handbook contains additional information, policies, and procedures regarding the MSCP program. In the spirit of continuous improvement, the Alverno University Community Psychology Department advises you to contact the MSCP Program Director (Dr. Kim Skerven) to find your proposal for changes to the manual.
Your graduation handbook and your graduate course documentation should be your main guide between your graduation career. The graduate school handbook contains university information, policies, requirements and guidance for all graduate students. Your course manual describes detailed information on postgraduate research and requirements on your particular course. While these two manuals are good sources of information, we are always welcome to contact your courses and postgraduate faculty and staff. For students who have a bachelor's degree, this program requires a minimum of 81 semesters. Students who have a Master's degree acquire a transfer unit of up to 30 hours and are approved by the course instructor. You must also complete at least 60 semester credits at UCF.
