In some cases, some people think student athletes already have sufficient privilege. In the latter group of individuals, student athletes can not earn enough money and they should make money for the sports they participate in. I decided to do an ethnographic research on the life of a college-level student athlete. This is an American culture, high school graduates are receiving free university education to receive special sports services. These sports include baseball, soccer, softball, basketball, tennis, athletics and golf. I decided to study the life of the student athlete who participated in the football project.

Discussion on whether or not to pay student athletes is an age-spanning discussion. NCAA believes that university sports are amateurs. Therefore, they believe that student athletes should not participate in sports salary. On the other hand, however, many critics believe that student athletes should be rewarded for competition not only to participate in sports but also to entertain the audience. They believe why they do not pay salary athletes if they are paid for casts in the entertainment industry. Does a student athlete be regarded as a student athlete or an employee?
