IQ tests represent "intelligence" tests or cognitive tests, and many people often use these tests as a measure of human intelligence. The IQ test accurately judges and even estimates, and personal intelligence is very controversial and has no controversy. IQ tests are based on the concept of symbolic logic, but since this has nothing to do with intelligence, the measurement content has uncertainty. The possible definition of the nature of intelligence is so great that the concept of intelligence can be strongly debated.
In psychology, human intelligence is usually evaluated by IQ score and IQ score is determined by IQ test. However, there are those who criticize IQ, people who do not object to the stable score of the IQ test, or who are very effective in predicting some form of accomplishment. However, they believe that building intellectuals based solely on IQ scores is a sign of many important aspects of ignoring mental abilities. Meanwhile, Linda S. Gottfredson (2006) argues that tens of thousands of research findings support the importance of IQ on school and work performance (see also Schmidt & Hunter's work, 2004). She said that IQ predicts the outcomes of many other lives, or is related to it. In contrast, experience support for non-intelligence is missing or very poor.
A few years ago, I did listening tests and standardized IQ tests in several university programs. We compared the results of hearing test with the IQ score of each student. There is little correlation between the hearing test results and the IQ score - there is one exception. There is a negative correlation between the listening score and the IQ score of the student with the highest IQ score. In other words, the wisest student in the listening test actually has a lower score than many students with a low IQ score. These results lead to the conclusion that a higher level of intelligence does not necessarily enable competent college students to hear better listening (even if they are not always happy). In addition, higher intelligence may actually hinder listening to the smartest people.
