Struggling Dreams

Several poems try to solve social and political problems. In several poems by Langston Hughes, he expressed social and political protests. I write articles about violence in the south, street life in Harlem, poverty, prejudice, hunger, despair. Hughes' poet 'Desire of Dreams' was published in 1951. This poem guesses the consequences of a white society rejecting opportunities for equal opportunities. The title of Lorraine Hansberry's play "The Light of the Sun" comes directly from Hughes poetry.

I love the movie "raisins" under the sun. This is an effort by a black family to realize their long-awaited dream. These dreams and the struggle necessary to accomplish them are one of the main focus of the movie. The movie starts with her husband, Walter and his wife Ruth, uses Walter's first payment as a liquor store, wins Walter's dream and makes it a business world. - Part A: One of the amazing aspects of "raisin in the sun" is the 2nd act of the 2nd act when Bobo offered a message to Walter that Willie funded the liquor company . To be honest, I do not think this will happen. I respect that Willie is one of Walter's best friends. I thought they would invest in the liquor industry and earn money. When Bobo announced the bad news, I did not believe it at all.

For Blacks who suffered or lived in New York during the Harlem Renaissance, America's dream was this kind of thing. Living in the "American dream" has no privilege to enjoy or enjoy them. Being well done, treated fairly, you can buy good ones with a beautiful house, these are the dreams that they will never become a reality. - Outside the kitchen: Review of the American dream in the poetry of Langston Hughes The Harlem Renaissance sounded for many talented artists, writers and poets.
