String Theory

Introduction This document covers those who wish to obtain a postgraduate degree in theoretical physics and want to enter a set of superstring theory and which graduate school mathematics courses they need to complete. Transcendental theory is one of the latest theoretical physics and is a topic in today's society. However, due to the advanced advances in mathematics related to super theory, two forms of graduate school mathematics are required at the forefront of research in this field.

In 1995, at the annual meeting of String Theorists of the University of Southern California (USC), Edward Witten announced a speech on string theory. It essentially combined the five string theories that existed at the time to create a new 11 - dimensional theory is called the M - theory. Almost at the same time, Paul Townsend's work also predicted M theory. The series of activities that began at this time is sometimes called the second superstring revolution. This is an example of the duality of gravity and is now understood as a special case of AdS / CFT.

The reaction of the string theorist is slightly different. Their answer was trying to ascertain whether it closely matches the exactly understood string theory. There is a problem with string theory that string theory can not handle cosmology - it can not handle time dependency. They have not reached this point yet. So they are skeptical about this.
