Storming Heaven: the Land before Time

In Denise Giardina's book "Heaven of the Storm", the lack of education and education plays the most important role in the character's life. The gods also include some smaller, obedient gods, especially the Degris and Euphrates Rivers, who are responsible for maintaining the Earth. Under the hardest effort, the gods took care of the land for them and decided to create humans to provide food to God through the service of worship, grain, wine and animals.
