Every year on April 24 Armenians around the world murdered their children and women, elderly people and men who were not armed with the killing of their country and the innocence of 5 million. This was also the day the Turkish government arrested more than 200 Armenian poets, intellectuals, religious and community leaders in Istanbul in 1915 and detained them in Anatolia. This incident was not isolated, but it was part of the persecution model that began as the late Ottoman Empire Sultan Abdulhamid II. According to the order of Sudan, 300,000 Armenians were slaughtered between 1894 and 1896. Sultan Hamid's brutal rule ended in 1908 when the coalition government called Young Turks held the regime and enacted a new constitution. Initially, the new rulers got tremendous support, they promised many reforms and appeared to support brotherhood love among the various ethnic groups of the empire.
