Paul is a mechanic at the laser manufacturing company and Clara was the first accountant known as one of Silicon Valley's high-tech companies. Jobs' parents met at the University of Wisconsin. Syrian Abdulfattah "John" Jandali teaches there. Joanne Carole Schieble is his student; they are the same age. Schieble's occupation is a language pathologist.
