Stereotyping of Hispanics in Hollywood's Films

Spanish stereotype in Hollywood movies "[Movie] manipulates human psychology, sociology, religion, morality ..." (Cine-Aztlan 175). Some examples are El Bandido, Halfbreed Harlot, The Male Buffoon, The Female Clown, The Latin Lover, The Dark Lady, The Wise Old Man, and The Poor Peon. Many Hispanic characters in Hollywood movies are composed of one or more of these basic stereotypes, but those who think that Latin American actors represent nonstandard characters of this stereotype Almost not. Stereotypes are also common in video games. There, women are drawn as stereotypes like "sexual girls" or sexual objects (see Gender representation of video games). According to the survey, it is known that ethnic minorities are most often drawn as a stereotypical role such as athletes and hooligans (see ethnographic expression of video games).
