All Muslims are terrorists. All Mexican people eat jalapeno. Whether all the elderly need to hand over a driver's license. These questions represent various examples of stereotypes that exist in today's society. Stereotype, predictable opinion, or belief can be linked to race, race, or religious belief. We make very different decisions about terrorists, criminals, mentally disabled people, television stars, free riders, and people who think it is perverted. In some cases, the stereotype may be useful and very accurate, but the stereotype for the majority of Muslims as terrorists is likely to be misleading and unfair.
In my article, I will explain the stereotypes and the different types of stereotypes. Discuss how people are stereotyped in different ways in today's society. In today's society, there are stereotypes in almost every group of individuals. They will experience stereotypes in their lives. For example, all African Americans are good at basketball, men are more aggressive than women, lawyers are fraudulent, the list continues. The spread of stereotypes and their frequent use is the natural behavior of human beings. (Kassin, Fein, & Markus, 2008) So what is a stereotype? Why group individuals? How is a stereotype formed? Are all stereotypes an accurate summary of the group? These are some of the issues discussed in this article. The purpose of this paper is to explain the stereotype clearly.
Today's society is a bit like the society of the early 1940s. People still believe in all the stereotypes about other people and are further developing their own stereotypes. Like an athlete or cheerleader was shaped to be a little stupid, blacks as natural athletes, even teenagers are traitorous. Japanese American who collapsed in American white cedar also experienced stereotype of prejudice
