The problem with Steppenwolf is that he has no meaning in this movie and manga. The Justice League was originally intended to be divided into two parts. Steppenwolves was originally intended to be the first part of a villain. And in the second part I played the main villain Darkseed. It makes sense that the Warner Bros. makes sense because of the extreme mixes and negative reactions they received in the early movies and the reasons for basic storytelling. If Steppenwolf is not a big bad person in the second part, Steppenwolf is not important and the audience will not take him seriously. Movie makers obviously added some scenes and changed the end of the film by trying to use Steppenwolf as a serious threat, but despite their best efforts.
