After reading Stephen L. Carter's article "Just Be Nice", I am a bit confused after considering the answer to the question raised by this task. That is the audience the author wants to reach. What is his objective? But the next question is the main cause of the writer's dilemma. Because at least it seems that Carter effectively clarifies his view and guides the students to the way, assuming the articles are valid. Then, the reaction to the latter must also be formed with the question "for effective, for whom, for whom?"
