STEM Education: How Teachers and Parents Can Help Create a Better Tomorrow

"I hope that you do not have to go to college to take math lessons," Eva says. "These ideas are difficult for me to understand, my brain does not seem to understand." Like many university students, Eva is unsuitable for university mathematics and mathematics. Many teachers are witnessing this struggle with classrooms and students, and we need to make future changes. However, the field of education is constantly evolving. Whether it comes from the introduction of new tech- niques or new teaching methods, teachers need to be innovators.

First, I will introduce some basic knowledge of STEM. I like to think STEM as an acronym. STEM is truly philosophy. STEM is a way of thinking about how all levels of educators (including parents) will encourage students to integrate their knowledge of subjects and encourage them to think in a more connected and holistic way. In the past decades, our understanding of how people learn has dramatically increased. For learning success, we found that it is necessary for learners to be in the center of experience, in an interdisciplinary and cross-learning environment. We need to provide our children the opportunity to learn the same materials in different environments and with different lenses. The traditional way of teaching themes by themselves does not support the best way for children to learn.

Teachers can become parents and parents can become teachers. Unlike teachers, parents can become parents without training or professional skills. Both parents and teachers will help children learn. However, the learning environment is different. The learning environment of school and other educational institution students is different from home learning environment. In addition, the teacher teaches specific subjects. But parents teach informally their education. They teach children about morals and other important skills to help children's lives (Clark 1)
