The first commercial problem on making stuffed toys was Steiff in Germany in 1880 and Steiff used a new technology developed for interior decoration to make that stuffed animal. In 1892, Itha Kakiti became one of the first mass-produced luxury animal toys in the United States. In 1903, Richard Steve designed a soft bear which was different from the earlier traditional dusty doll as it was made of luxurious fur dough. At the same time, in the United States, Morris Michtom produced the first teddy bear inspired by Theodore Roosevelt and his bear picture. The role of British author Beatrix Potter was the first patented stuffed toy in 1903.

At the same time, in Germany, Steiff did not know the bear of Michtom, he made a gorgeous bear from the design of Richard Steiff. Steve exhibited toys at the Leipzig Toy Fair in March 1903 and Hermannberg was a buyer of George Borgfeld & Company (and brothers of composers Alban Berg) in New York. He ordered 3,000 to be sent to the United States. According to Steven's records, these bears are recorded as being produced, but they are not recorded as arriving in the US and I have never seen examples of type 55 type. But this story is controversial - pointed out that Gunther Pfieffer was recorded only in 1953, stated that the possibility of 55 PB is not enough to survive today. Steiff and Michtom made teddy bears at about the same time, but because of insufficient communication throughout the Atlantic, I did not know each other's creation.
