The recording I heard is called a carnival collection. This is the Caribbean Steel drum music. This is the majority of what people hear and play in the Caribbean. It can be related to the type of music called Techno. Basic beats are usually repeated, but special instruments such as steel drums play melodies and songs. The Caribbean band consists mainly of drum kipper, steel drum player, guitar, base player. Other bands will add other instruments such as keyboards, snares, African drums.
In the third year as an educator, I began making steel drum bands for several disabled students. It costs at least 5000 dollars to buy a steel drum. I applied for a grant through the Dutch Opus Foundation (MHOF) and shared it reasonably with you to respect my request. Donation of MHOF gave my students the opportunity to perform in Ohio as a whole. This will provide a place to increase their self-worth and promote 'ability awareness' (We feel very good about ourselves, we are Macy's Thanksgiving parade, Oprah, Monte and Eren de Janis I found a march to the courage to execute the request)
Raymond Charles is a wonderful steel drum player in the Philadelphia area, delivering real Caribbean sounds to the auditorium of the library. Originating from Trinidad and Tobago, he was the birthplace of the steel drum and was a wonderful entertainer who performed and arranged Star Lift Steel and the Philadelphia Pansters Steel Orchestra. Rancocas Valley Singers consists of graduates of Rancocas Valley high school concerts and indoor choirs and presents "important words". Inspired by poetry, prose and drama, performances include works by Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, Ludia de Giblin, Mark Twain, Shakespeare and other renowned artists.
I do not know what happens before joining a steel band concert. When I heard the word "steel strip", I thought of big and small sized bands rather than Caribbean steel drum bands. When the members of the band first played, I was shocked. I am looking for boring music that I want to dance, not Caribbean music. My favorite song played by the band is Steve Butters' s "Do not look back" song. Listening to the music played by the ECC band is so wonderful that Steve Butter's song is my favorite. Thanks to the sound of the steel drum, the music reminds me of Caribbean music and makes me happy as if I were taking a holiday. The inability to access this type of music makes it a better experience, as it is a new and foreign one.
