Statesmen versus Warlords

Politicians and warlords may not have occurred in modern history like events that have deeply influenced the political, social and philosophical views of American people like the American - Vietnam War. From 1961 to 1966, Assistant Secretary of State George Bell called Vietnam "the single biggest mistake in America history" (heritage). When the first war was lost by the United States, Vietnam defeated American confidence in its military hegemony and caused a wave of new isolationism in the country.

Armedist has emerged in many countries and cultures in history. Currently, there are two countries where warlords play an important role. These are Afghanistan and Somalia. In my thesis I would like to explain this form of control in the case of Somalia - what warlords bring to ordinary people, how they affect their lives, and how they look in the future ? After the collapse of the Siad Barre regime in the early 1990s, armedism was called the mainstream form of political organization in the central and southern regions. The general was the leader of emerging political factions in Somalia and began to play an important role after the collapse of the Siad Barre regime in 1991. The incident that led to intervention in Somalia in 1992 began when Somali dictator Muhammad Sciaballe was defeated in a military coup against the opposition party armed forces in 1991. The two most powerful warlords - Karimahudi Makhim (Ali Mahdi Mohammed) and Muhammad Farah Aid began to fight soon. The ongoing conflict led to the destruction of domestic agriculture, which led to the famine of the people. By the fall of 1991, the United Nations estimated that 4.5 million Somalians are in danger of hunger. Under international pressure, the war party, including Aid, agreed to a ceasefire, the UN observer entered the country, allowing him to organize humanitarian activities there.
