Statement of Purpose to the MA Program at McGill University

I'd like to prepare for a strict study of the doctoral course economics program so I am applying for participation in the McGill University economics master's program. My short and medium term goal is to fulfill all the requirements of the graduate program. In the long term, I will be hired as a faculty member from a research university in the US and Canada. My academic background is 4 years of graduate education (majoring in international economics) and 2 years of graduate education (finance major).
