The development of cloud computing has revolutionized the way abstraction is abstracted and used in remote third-party infrastructure. It is now possible to try new ideas on the cloud without incurring initial costs or at very low initial costs. Cloud computing is attractive to businesses and organizations because it eliminates the need to prepare supplies in advance and can start growing as the service needs increase, starting with a small scale. There are challenges in adopting cloud computing, but due to obstacles, we have the opportunity to investigate some aspects of cloud computing. One of the main problems is the privacy of data security and information stored and processed by the cloud service provider's system. This work examined several cloud computing investigations related to security issues and privacy issues. The main purpose of this white paper is to better understand the security challenges of cloud computing and to identify the methods and solutions proposed and adopted in the cloud service industry.
Security is one of the main challenges faced by today's cloud applications. Therefore, most people are afraid to rely on cloud-based solutions. In 2008, the International Data Cooperation Organization (IDC) conducted a survey using 244 IT directors and CIOs. Of those, 74.6% think security is a big problem of cloud computing. The following figure further explains this problem. When considering cloud security, you can identify several security problems. Cloud computing authentication security, cloud data storage security, and disaster recovery strategy are some of the major security issues described. For better cloud computing environments, these security issues should be addressed as much as possible.
Literature surveys and comments indicate that researchers are addressing issues related to cloud security and privacy issues. Researchers have proposed several solutions to security problems in the cloud computing system and solved several problems. However, in the cloud computing field, further research is needed to ensure the security and privacy of end user data. The use of cloud computing is still comparable to that of enterprises; companies like financial institutions have important data that can not tolerate loss or theft.
