As the most dazzling star in the Scorpio constellation, Antares' name means "Martian opponent". It is almost the same visual color and brightness as Mars, but this star is about 553 light years away from the Earth - and Mars is only 13 minutes away from the earth!

Because there are many bright stars, Scorpio is easily found in the night sky. Antares is the most shining star in the constellation, it is said to be the core of the scorpion. This is the easiest to find star, but because it is a reddish orange color, it may be confused with Mars. On the right side of the heart there are 3 to 5 stars forming the head. On the left there is a long list of stars turning to sideways or reverse question marks. Taurus is a device that stands out greatly in the winter sky. As one of the oldest recognized constellations, the myth dates back to the early Bronze Age. There are several Greek myths including Taurus. Two of them include Zeus pretending to be a bull, or pretending to be his mistress like an infidelity bull. Another myth is that the bulls are the seventh labor of Hercules as the beast caused serious damage in the country.
