St Vincent de Paul

Everyone knows that Saint Vincent de Paul was born in torn Europe. The cement that united Europe is Catholic, but Luther and the other Protestants break this unification forever. About 1550 Calvinist came to France from Switzerland with a Protestant Bible, and Calvinist's intervention quickly spread through the country of Gaul. The Roman Catholic Church is worried about losing control of the soul; the government is worried that Protestant demands rural rule.

"Vincentians" is known as a member and they promise to serve others with the spirit of the founder Frederic Ozanam and patron saint Vincent de Paul. The Saint Vincent Paul Association is a volunteer member organization composed of people from all walks of life who have felt the charm of spending part of the time to serve people in need. Through their efforts, the association can work and achieve toward the goal of alleviating suffering. Regardless of whether it is material, intellectual, emotional or spiritual, it is to help everyone in the spirit of sympathy, respect and dignity. Rather than coping with specific situations, members of society aim to work with the people they serve to create solutions that take into account all aspects of their lives. Charity is not strange to the guild

Through the 19th century American Catholic charitable organizations remained the main local phenomenon. The exception was St. Vincent depolar Association (SVDP or Vincentians) organized in 1845 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, but soon spread to other cities and parishes. Vincentians has launched a number of programs that serve as the core services of NCCC parish agencies, such as search facilities for nurseries, youth accommodation centers, emergency food items and clothing, youth clubs, and salvage offices. The SVDP Association played an important role in the establishment of the NCCC and early local leadership. By 1910, as historian Donald Gavin pointed out, there were 12,000 members, "the only organization in history dedicated to hosting national and international conferences and serving the poor" .

Ozanna contributed to the poor on the principle of the Saint Vincent de Paulle Association; this was accomplished by providing firewood to his poor neighbor. Today, the principle of Saint Vincent de Paul is still to provide or support the economy, but also to provide mental and emotional support. This is mainly achieved through home visits; just as Ozanam did. Members visit poor houses and today we provide emotional support in a way to discuss and communicate with these people.
