Today is the monument of the martyr of St. Justin (AD 100 - 165 AD). He was born in a pagan family, studied philosophy, and converted to Christianity. Later he opened a school in Rome. He was killed under the rule of Marcus Aurelius. He is not only famous for being a martyr and a philosopher, he is also famous for being an apologist.
