St. Gerald

In the latter part of the eleventh century, Archbishop Toledo named Bernard and was asked by the Pope to do church reforms in Spain. He called up various French clerics and monks, including Abbott of Moissac who was appointed chief of the chapel of Toledo Cathedral.
