St. Augustine: Thoughts on Good and Evil

And the temptation they bring is tied to the spiritual existence of many people. Finding the source of all evils is an incomprehensible concept, but understanding your free will helps to understand and save the evil of the world. Through this book, St. Augustine confesses "I think about the concept of evil and sin and look for the roots of their existence" (August 15).

In this article we will look at Saint Augustine's view of evil. St. Augustine believes that God created a complete world, but God's creation has turned from God with free will This is the origin of evil in the world. Augustine believes that it is impossible to say that evil exists, and evil comes from the free nature of any biological will, along with the pain caused by punishment as sin. According to Augustine, it does not conflict with his righteousness, so God allows evil to exist in the world. He did not create evil, but it was not a victim of it. He just allowed it to exist

Where did it come from? How does evil spread to the whole picture? St. Augustine was the seventh confession of confession, looking back on the existence of evil and the theological problem that it formed. In order for evil to exist, the God of the Creator has to give it. This is fundamentally incompatible with Christian's perception that God is good. Logically, this will lead people to believe that there is not evil in the sense of creation. Augustine concluded that the evil itself was not formal but a result.

Saint Augustine's view of evil is simply poor. Augustine believes that evil is not another strength but a lack of goodwill. This view contradicts Manichan's view. Augustine regards evil as emptiness, not as a substance. This emptiness is like "nothing" in the "no end stories" that inherit the existence of that infection. In the past, the existence of good has become empty. Evil will erode it. Augustine believes that all sentimental existence is good and that all sensibility existence is likely to be damaged. Even if the existence is partially corrupt, existence is still only good, as evil does not exist by itself, it is simply a lack of good. All sentient beings have free will and their kindness may change: "But they may not decrease as their Creator, so their profits may decrease "Owner exists, because they exist in each other, it is good that they exist.
