The overall goal of this survey was to judge whether the professional sports franchise affected the regional economy. Specifically, the focus of the research is Oklahoma City, lightning in the metropolitan area of the professional basketball team in the metropolitan area. As a member of the American Basketball Association (NBA), Thunder is the only four major sports team in Oklahoma City: basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey. Oklahoma City was chosen as the subject of the case study. Because Thunder's economic impact is because it is the only franchise in this city. The data analyzed throughout this paper covers the period from 2001 to 2015 and provides the same period of time after the organization has arrived in 2008 and 7 years after arrival. The variables considered in this study show the economic situation of Oklahoma City from 2001 to 2015.
