Spirit Day means that you are standing together with young people of LGBTQ, teasing LGBTQ. The determination to "purple on spiritual day" is a way for everyone, including foresighted companies, global leaders, respected celebrities, neighbors, parents, classmates, and friends. In early October 2010, a Canadian teenager, Brittany McMillan, held a new LGBT Q Enlightenment Day called Spirit Day. The first anniversary is October 20, 2010 and now it will be held on October 15. At midnight on October 31, people believe that the gate of Heaven is open, so that the souls of dead children called Angelitus and Angels can meet and reunite their loved ones.
