Sphinx's Three Phases of Destruction in Sophocles´ Oedipus the King

In Greek myths there are often good rulers, rulers who can find a predicament with excellent wisdom. Sophocles 'Oedipus King' is no exception. Sphinx asked tourists about her dark riddle before Edips got to Thebe. "Is it four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, three in the night?" This mystery destroyed Sphinx, married a mother, and won the throne. Edipsus easily understood the mystery, but he could not understand this mystery is related to his life.
