Speech on Volunteering

Like Henry VIII said to one of his wives, "I will not last you." Good evening, members and guests. Regular American high school students go to school every day from 7 am to 3 pm, from 10 pm to 7 am, sleeping 9 hours a day. Over the years, I noticed that high school students in San Mateo County were not ordinary American high school students. Most of us go to school from sunrise to sunset, the clubs are gathering here and staying here to follow up, "Mom, I am home to dinner at 6 o'clock! It was ten hours a day.

One thing I was particularly worried about when I was a freshman is how did I incorporate extracurricular activities into a busy university's new calendar? I am a typical "super accomplice" in high school, I participate in a direct alliance of speech, chorus, drama, volunteer, and homosexuals and maintain high score. I am very busy and prosperous. I think the time has come to do something. I step back a step and cited what I was very good at, and what I knew helped me succeed. I like regularity and I find that I like timelines and checklists. I invested in the planner and started organizing myself. When I check my work when I complete my mission I am very proud and accomplished. I also noticed that the performance in music, in particular, helped to extend my talent and put pressure on me. I joined the choir, joined the theater department, and began to connect with other active students and teachers.

My first experience at Toastmasters was mainly in Minnesota at Medtronics. There was no prepared speech on that day, so I was the first volunteer The whole hour was filled with volunteer improvised speech. There is a paper clip, the theme is that you chose a random theme from that point, you can talk about it within at least 1 minute, 2 minutes. In this special conference, 99% of the "random" theme was quoted by the famous Martin Luther King as someone caught the bag left by Martin Luther King Jr.. I am one of about 3 out of about 20 people, and I did not get a famous introduction as my theme.
