SPACE AND TIME IN FILM

The movie I chose to express time and space was the movie Click (2006), including Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale. Michael Newman (Sandler) was a workaholic architect and had no time to deal with everything in life until he got a universal remote control that could control the time and space around him. Just click the button to fast forward, pause, mute, access to the past is possible. I chose this movie as it perfectly matches the ideal of time and space. For example - the past theory (Powell, 2012, p. 17) that we can only live today, live through memory and can not rule the future is excavated through the film. Michael physically controls the remote control - but his future can not be controlled

I know that there are two movies that successfully created the time experience for the audience by using time as space and time as sports. The two movies are Wavelength (Michael Snow, 1967) and 2001 (Stanley Kubrick, 1968). In wavelength, the progress of continuous and indiscriminate zoom forward movement combined with constant changes in camera inventory and color filter causes interruption of forward movement, which is considered meaningless on the soundtrack . Then stop motion like a film image made from continuous pictures. Separation of each photographic image being projected by closing the shutter, and conversion from the current photographic image to the next photographic image

A movie is defined as a series of spatial images placed in space-time. The era of movie language is completely different from reality, and it is also conveyed by other arts such as drama and literature. Motion on the screen is generated by displaying a dark interval between viewers' 24 frames or a still picture per second. Movement looks just like ordinary life speed only when the taken pictures are taken at the same speed. Slow motion can be realized by accelerating the camera or decelerating the projector and accelerating it in the opposite way. Usually the speed of the projector is constant and the speed of the camera is changed to achieve these effects.
