In this project, I will study which drinks will provide more electrolyte: Gatorade, Orange juice, coconut water or spring water. Most experts believe that if you participate in moderate exercise, drinking water solves the problem. But if you work hard, you need to add some salt that your body has lost due to sweat. These salts are called electrolytes. Water provides the necessary liquid to avoid dehydration, but it does not have electrolyte. Sweat contains electrolytes such as sodium and potassium.
The biggest misconception about electrolyte imbalance and treatment dehydration is that you can drink plenty of water and sports drinks. The electrolyte is diluted with normal water, and the imbalance of the electrolyte increases. "Sports" beverages lack some essential electrolytes, and these beverages are not isotonic, which means the same concentration as blood. Sugar of sports drink also kills natural charge from actual electrolyte solution. This charge is important for absorption into cells
Supplementing electrolyte through a sports drink helps to replenish the loss of minerals; however, the electrolyte also helps to make the most of the water that is the key to proper hydration. Sports drinks with high sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium help to hold the liquid and proper fluid balance helps to achieve optimum performance. Sodium is the most important electrolyte in the culture process. Excessive sodium loss (due to perspiration) causes muscle cramps and in some cases causes hyponatremia (hyponatremia) - both cause a decrease in performance and cause serious health complications (2). Sodium is essential for maintaining balance of body fluids, nerve function, muscle contraction, acid base balance (2). The sodium loss of sweat is greater than any other electrolyte. Therefore, it is important to maintain the correct balance during and after the event.
Mechanism: BodyArmor is a choke filled with electrolyte. When you exercise and sweat, we lose precious electrolytes. This helps maintain the water balance in the body. BodyArmor sports drinks are different as they use potassium as their main electrolyte than sodium. Their reason is that potassium contributes to neurological function and muscle control, and also helps prevent convulsions. Potassium is a more informative option as Americans consume enough sodium as they eat food.
